LEFT Our first ever meeting - Eudlo Hall, 5th April, 2011
On the first Tuesday of each month we unlock the doors of the beautiful old Eudlo Village Hall and begin the process of turning it into Permaculture Eudlo's meeting place.
People start arriving at 7pm, some bringing goodies from their gardens to sell or trade, others with handy 'found objects' or cuttings to give away.
Each month there is a presentation - a film, a talk, a practical demonstration, a permaculture plant profile... our focus is firmly on permaculture education and inspiration.
There's time for news to be shared, questions asked, problems solved (hopefully!) and then the group decides what happens at next month's meeting - ensuring Permaculture Eudlo remains relevant to the people who make it happen each and every month and who shape the future direction of the group.
We finish off with supper and time for a chat, then floors are swept, chairs and tables stacked away, lights turned off and doors locked by 9pm.
You're welcome to join us and to be part of our permaculture community. We also arrange garden visits to member's homes, Permablitzes, workshops (beekeeping?), and social trips such as car pooling to the Crystal Waters Permaculture Markets on the first Saturday of the month.
